Thrills & chills at Beaumaris Castle this Halloween!
Join in a Halloween themed trail for a day of thrills and chills! Join a spooky tour around the castle walls, find the clues and claim your prize, but be careful you don’t bump into the castle witch! With pumpkin carving and crafts for all to get involved wit there is plenty to keep you entertained! Carve a scary face into a pumpkin and take it home with you. You can also make a scary mask, take part in the spooky trail and spot the scary goings on around the castle.
Anglesey sea zoo is a circus of horrors at Halloween
For one night only the aquarium will be home to The Circus of Horrors! Brave the dark and come face to face with some weird and wonderful characters from snake charmers to fortune tellers! Doors will open at 6.30pm, 30th Oct – bring a torch unless you want to be really scared!
Welsh Highland Railway Halloween Train
Running from Porthmadog to Tan-Y-Bwlch, the train will deposit you in the midst of a terrifying dark forest. You can board the train and head off into the depths of the North Walian darkness for an evening of fireworks, fancy dress and frighteningly good fun with the kids.

Llanberis Lake Railway Halloween ghost train
Dare you ride the ghostly train through the Witches Woods to seek out the spirits and spooks? The scary steam train around the lake and is sure to give you a fright or two!
Conwy ghost bus Halloween tour
Ghosts and ghouls will be lurking at every turn if you dare to step on the Conwy Ghost Bus. The bus takes its victims on a surreal tour of Llandrillo cemetery with characters such as the Professor and Harry the Old Sea Captain to guide the way. October 23rd – October 31st, departures will be from the Kinmel Hotel, Llandudno at 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm and Conwy Tourist Information Centre at 6.45pm, 7.45pm and 8.45pm
Halloween Spooktacular at Greenwood Forest Park
From Saturday October 25th, Greenwood Forest Park will be running it’s Halloween events. Get creative with creepy crafts – make lanterns, monstrous masks and create your own Harry Potter broomstick. Keep your eyes peeled for witches and other spooky creatures in the trees, or become one yourself with freaky face painting. Head on down to the Forest Theatre for Smarty Marty’s Halloween show on Friday 30th. During the week, a special visit from REX the life like dinosaur on Monday 26th will be a delight not to be missed!
Bodnant kids’ Halloween party
If you want to stay warm and dry indoors, you might prefer the kid’s Halloween party at Bodnant Welsh Food? Join Harley the Clown in the witch’s Tea Room for a night of spooky fun. The evening will include a Halloween show and disco, games, fancy dress competition and a free meal and drink for kids. There’ll be ghoulish light-bites and meals available for parents throughout the evening.
Pumpkin Bird Hunt this Halloween – RSPB Conwy Reserve
Every Halloween, a big fat orange bird appears at the reverse and your help is needed to track him down! He is usually spotted in the morning between 11am and 12.00 or in the afternoon between 2pm and 3pm.
