

If you are lucky enough to be visiting North Wales this bonfire night, and you love celebrating the 5th November with a bonfire and a spectacular fireworks display, you won’t be disappointed. There is something truly magical about wrapping up warm, donning your mittens & munching on toffee apples with the smell of fireworks in the air There are so many organised firework displays you will be spoilt for choice. Here are just a few for you to choose from.
Beaumaris – Saturday 4th November
Beaumaris town band will be playing live music from 5.30pm for a little pre-event entertainment with the Town Mayor lighting the bonfire at 7pm near the Lifeboat Slipway. By The Green & Pier the fireworks display begins at 7.30pm. There is an entry fee of £5 per person with children under 12 admitted for free.
Holyhead – Sunday 5th November
Penrhos Beach is the place to be. Fireworks will be lit at 7pm. There is a small charge of £3 for adults and children go free. All proceeds will be donated to charity too!
Criccieth display – Friday 3rd November
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm with the fireworks display beginning at 8. It promises to be a great night with street food and live music!
Pwllheli’s main event – Saturday 4th November
To be held at Glasfryn Parc starting at 6.30pm with all donations going to the Wales Air Ambulance. A great night out supporting a great cause!

Abergele – Saturday October 28th
If you have younger children who may enjoy a more gentle fireworks display, Abergele may be for you. The evening starts with a small display for toddlers at 6.15pm on Pensarn Beach & foreshore. The main event starts at 7pm with the bonfire being lit, followed by a fireworks display at 7.45pm. All profits made during the evening will be returned to the local community and local charities.
Colwyn Bay – Friday 3rd November
Eiras Park is the host to this year’s Guy Fawkes fun on Friday 3rd November from 7pm. The lighting of the bonfire will be at 7.15pm followed by fireworks at 7.15pm. Entrance is free of charge, however there will be opportunity to donate cash on the night, with 50% going to the Firefighter’s Charity.
Caernarfon
The annual fireworks display can be viewed from the promenade by the Castle. With the castle behind you and the fireworks over the sea in front of you it should be spectacular!
